I know this is AWKWARD but please bear with me
( Life is awkward… Love is awkwardier…hehehehehe)

You know, I have been thinking about us. About how much I have always loved you since the first time I met you. That was your first year in the University.
(I think I'd love you even if we had never met)

I remember graduating from FUTO and going for my NYSC. I was always sleeping in the office dreaming of you.
(I luurve you, you know, I loave you, I luff you, I rearry rearry love you)

I can recall how excited I was the first time you visited Abuja and I couldn't let you off my sight for a minute. We went everywhere together (Salon, Restaurants, bars etc…I love you without knowing how, why, or even from where)

You asked me what I wanted for my birthday in your final year in Uni and I jokingly asked for a car (shebi you see how greedy I can be), you then bought me a toy car instead. According to you, that was to encourage and motivate me to always work harder
(You make me want to be a better man)

You graduated from Uni and I was so happy you were posted close to Abuja for your NYSC. It was going to be fun having someone special like you around me.
(I'm happiest whenever I see you, and high when I'm with you.)

And you didn't disappoint. On my birthday during your NYSC, you surprised me with the best birthday party of my life at the Motherless Babies home.
(You should be kissed, every day, every hour, every minute, every second)

That night, it felt like the heavens opened and I could hear a voice saying to me "Ofor, Ngozi is my beloved daughter in whom I am well pleased. Wife her!"
(I love you. You complete me.)

I don't know why, but soon afterwards, I suffered this terrible motor accident. I was lucky to have survived it. Like my family and close friends, you sacrificed a whole lot for me. I appreciate. I always will.
(I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever.)

I was always happy seeing and hearing from you.
(Nobody makes me happy like you do).

So my brain asked my heart, isn't it time to wife her? And my heart replied, If you really love her, put a ring on her finger.

So I thought about it….alone in a quiet place
(like a boss does)

Even in the office, my thoughts were occupied with the numerous reasons why I have always loved you (I'm still a learner... but I know what love is)

So before I ask you this very important question, I have decided to make some pledges to you.

Ngozi, Will you marry me?
